The internships (Komplex-/Master-/Forschungspraktikums) start next week.

There will be a test exam for TIS on monday, 18.12.17 1PM, in room APB E010. It is highly recommended to participate.

We are happy to announce that our paper “CSAR: The Cross-sectional autoregression model” written by Claudio Hartmann, Martin Hahmann, Dirk Habich, and Wolfgang Lehner has been accepted as full paper at the 4th IEEE International Conference on Data Science and Advanced Analytics (DSAA) in Tokyo, Japan.

We are happy to announce that our paper “Partitioning Strategy Selection for In-Memory Graph Pattern Matching on Multiprocessor Systems” written by Alexander Krause, Thomas Kissinger, Dirk Habich, Hannes Voigt and Wolfgang Lehner has been accepted at the 23rd International European Conference on Parallel and Distributed Computing (Euro-Par 2017) in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

Our paper “Hardware Optimizations for Database Engines” written by Annett Ungethüm, Dirk Habich, Tomas Karnagel, Sebastian Haas, Eric Mier, Gerhard Fettweis, and Wolfgang Lehner has been accepted as full paper at BTW 2017.

Our paper “A Machine Learning Approach for Layout Inference in Spreadsheets” by Elvis Koci, Maik Thiele and Wolfgang Lehner was awarded as the best Student Paper at KDIR 2016.

The paper “Compression-aware Query Processing. Vision, System Design and Beyond” by Juliana Hildebrandt, Dirk Habich, Patrick Damme and Wolfgang Lehner has been accepted at the VLDB-Workshop IMDM/ADMS 2016.

Our paper „Model-Driven Integration of Compression Algorithms in Column-Store Database Systems“ written by Juliana Hildebrandt, Dirk Habich, Wolfgang Lehner has been selected for presentation and publication at LWDA 2016.
